Visit to the Pizzorno winery incl. wine tasting and lunch
Today you will be driven to the Pizzorno Estates winery, which was founded in 1910 as a family business in the village of Canelón Chico. The fourth generation of family winemakers focus on balance with the environment and love and respect for nature is their guiding principle.
At the Pizzorno winery, an oenologist or sommelier will guide you through the vineyards, winery and wine cellar, where you will have the opportunity to learn about all the processes involved in the production of Pizzorno wines. You will then taste four different wines and olive oils under the guidance of a technician, along with four aperitifs to accompany each of the wines. Finally, you will enjoy a three-course lunch with a different glass of wine for each course. After lunch, you will have time to relax in the winery.
**Note: The visit can be made together with other travelers.
The staff at the winery do not speak German - however, your tour guide will be available.
The tour then continues to Colonia del Sacramento.
**Note: The Posada Don Antonio does not have an elevator. The rooms must therefore be reached via a few steps.
