Day 1
Transfer from your hotel to the pier and start of the jungle excursion (together with other guests) to the Amazon Ecopark Lodge.
The Amazon Ecopark is located about ½ hour from Manaus. The complex consists of 21 bungalows, each with 3 rooms with air conditioning, fan and bathroom with hot water.
Many specimens of typical Amazonian animal species have been released here, most of which come from rescue operations and which, with a bit of luck, visitors can now photograph in their natural habitat. A particular highlight is the "monkey jungle" - extremely rare specimens of monkey species that are on the endangered species list can be observed here in the wild.
**Note: The lodge stay takes place together with international travelers.
Today you will experience the diversity of flora and fauna in the Amazon region up close on various excursions on foot and by canoe, such as jungle trekking, a visit to the monkey jungle, a visit to an indigenous settlement or a night-time canoe tour.
Note**:*** The specific excursions are determined on site at the lodge. The itinerary depends on local conditions such as weather conditions and may be subject to change at short notice.
Day 1 - 2
Overnight and dinner at Amazon Ecopark Lodge.
Day 2
Today you will go on an excursion to the ***meeting of the waters***, the mouth of the Rio Solimoes into the Rio Negro, where the two rivers join to form the Amazon. The yellow water masses of the Solimoes and the black water masses of the Negro flow side by side for miles without mixing due to the huge water masses.
Day 2 - 3
Overnight and dinner at Amazon Ecopark Lodge.
Day 3
Transfer from Amazon Ecopark Lodge to Manaus Hotel.
