Your Travel Experience with South American Tours DMC

Chile's capital impresses with its colonial-style buildings alongside modern skyscrapers and trendy cafés with the ever-present Andes on the outskirts of the city. You start the tour on the “Alameda”, the main street, which is located right in the heart of the city. In this main street you can see important buildings such as the University of Chile, the Church of San Francisco, the National Library and Santa Lucia Hill, where Santiago was founded in 1541. You should also visit the Plaza de Armas. Drive through the artistic and nightlife district of Bellavista to the Cerro San Cristóbal viewpoint. From here you have a fantastic view over Santiago and the high Cordillera. A visit to the modern residential areas, where you can admire the architecture, rounds off your visit to the capital.

**Note: Access to San Cristobal Hill is only permitted by funicular, cable car or ecological bus.
