After a drive through Los Glaciares National Park, you reach Lago Argentino, into which the famous Perito Moreno Glacier grows. This is one of the few glaciers on earth that is still growing. Every day, small pieces of ice break off the glacier wall and fall into the water with a huge roar. The imposing glacier front of the Perito Moreno Glacier is 5 km long and 70 m high. You will have enough time to observe the constant calving of the glacier before the drive back to Calafate.
